Who you are buying from

Kunn AS (organisation number 937 941 463, Norway), at support@galawall.com. The organisation number identifies the company in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises, where the registered address can be looked up.

The company is not registered in the Norwegian VAT register, so no value added tax is added to the price.

What the service is

You create an event and get a QR code and a link. Guests open it, take or pick photos and videos, and what they upload appears on the wall you have open on a screen. Guests need no app and no account.

  • A trial event holds 50 photos and 7 days, which is enough to try the wall at home and not enough to run a party on.
  • A paid event has no photo limit and is kept for 365 days from payment, with the originals available to download.
  • We may change or improve features. We will not take away what you have paid for during the year you have paid for.

Price and payment

  • The price is shown in your currency before you pay, and the amount charged is exactly the amount shown. It is a single payment for one event: nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel.
  • Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.
  • The receipt is emailed to you when the payment goes through. Keep it; it is your proof of purchase.

Your right to withdraw

As a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of a digital service. Because the upgrade takes effect the moment you pay, you are asked at payment to agree that we start immediately, and to acknowledge that you then lose the right of withdrawal. If you do not agree to that, do not upgrade yet: the trial keeps working until you do.

If the upgrade was not delivered — the event was not unlocked — write to support@galawall.com and we refund you.

What you are responsible for

  • Telling your guests that photos they upload appear on a wall everyone at the event can see, and that you can download them.
  • What ends up on your wall. You can remove any photo from your event at any time.
  • Not using the service for anything illegal, for material that is sexual, hateful or harassing, or for content you have no right to share.
  • Keeping your link and your code to yourself if you do not want strangers uploading to your event.

What we are responsible for

We keep the service running and your event available for the period you have paid for. We may remove content or suspend an event that breaks the clause above, or that puts the service or other people at risk, and we tell the host why.

We cannot promise that the service is never interrupted. If a fault on our side means the wall does not work at your event, write to us and we refund what you paid for that event. Beyond that, our liability is limited to the amount you paid, except where Norwegian law does not allow such a limit, such as for gross negligence or personal injury.

Who owns the photos

You and your guests do. We store them to run your event, and we make no other use of them. We do not use photos from an event in marketing unless a host has asked us in writing to use theirs.

Ending the agreement

  • You can delete your event or your account at any time, which deletes the photos in it. A paid event that you delete early is not refunded, because the service has been delivered.
  • An event closes at the end of its period: 50 photos and 7 days for a trial, 365 days from payment for a paid event. We write to you before that day.

Complaints and disputes

Write to support@galawall.com first; most things are settled there. If we cannot agree, a consumer in Norway can bring the case to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet), and a consumer elsewhere in the EEA can use the dispute resolution body available in their country.

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. This does not take away the protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.

Changes

We may change these terms for new purchases. The terms you agreed to when you paid are the ones that apply to that event, and the date at the top says which version they are.
