Galawall

Galawall vs Guestlense

Both collect photographs behind a QR code and show them live, and both start at about the same price. The difference is what the higher tiers buy. Guestlense is $49 on its own, $99 with thirty printed QR cards, and $199 with fifty polaroid prints as well. Galawall is $49 and prints nothing for you, but the QR signs and table cards come ready to print yourself.

Free to try with 50 photographs. One payment of $49 per event when you are ready.

Where the two differ

  • Guestlense's higher tiers are a printing service: thirty QR cards at $99, and fifty polaroid prints at $199. Galawall gives you the designs and you print them where you like, which is cheaper and slower.
  • Guestlense separates a 3-month upload period from a 12-month download period. Galawall keeps a paid event for 365 days and does not split the two.
  • Both work in a guest's browser with no app, and both show a live slideshow during the party.

When Guestlense is the better choice

If you would rather not deal with a printer at all, the $99 tier arrives with the cards already made, and at fifty prints the $199 tier is doing something Galawall does not do in any form. Weigh that against printing our designs at a local shop, which usually costs less than the difference between the tiers.

When Galawall is the better choice

Pick Galawall when you would rather choose your own printer. The designs come ready at the size a print shop expects, so you can put them on the paper you like, at the shop you like, usually for less than the difference between Guestlense's tiers. The rest of the money goes into the wall itself.

And there is one thing every service on this page has that we do not: a decision. Two tiers, three packages, eight guest bands. Galawall has one paid price, and the only thing left to choose is how the evening should look.

  3. Watch.

Put the wall on a screen. Your guests do the rest.

Questions

Does Galawall print QR cards for me?

No. Galawall gives you the QR sign and the table cards as files in the designs you choose, and you print them. Guestlense sells thirty printed cards as part of its $99 tier.

How long do guests have to upload?

Guestlense states a 3-month upload period from the day of the event, and 12 months to download. On Galawall guests upload while the event is open, and a paid event is kept for 365 days.

Are they the same price?

At the base tier they are close: Guestlense is $49 and Galawall is $49. Guestlense's higher tiers cost more because they include printing.
